The Role: Impact & Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Technician, you are the backbone of our facility’s safety and comfort. You will ensure that our residents enjoy a high-quality living environment through proactive care and expert troubleshooting.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues across the building with efficiency and precision.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections and repairs on facility equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity.

• Systems Expertise: Utilize a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) systems to maintain a seamless environment.

• Safety Leadership: Strictly adhere to established safety protocols, facility policies, and regulatory procedures.

• Collaboration: Work directly under the guidance of the Maintenance Director and Administrator to complete priority projects and "on-call" rotations (every other weekend).

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a reliable, tech-savvy professional who takes pride in their craft.

• Experience: Proven background in Building Maintenance. Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or a clinical setting is a significant plus but not required.

• Technical Literacy: Comfortable using computers for work orders, documentation, and communication.

• Adaptability: The ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as a collaborative member of our multidisciplinary team.

• Commitment: A dedication to maintaining a safe, clean, and functional home for our residents.
