Maintenance Tech for Apartments in Burleson, TX full-time

Integra-Peak Management is seeking an individual with an exceptional work ethic and eye for detail to fill our full-time Maintenance Technician role at our two apartment communities in Burleson, TX.

The position is for 40 hours/week, with some flexibility as to schedule, and the salary offered is $42,000 per year and up, depending on skills and experience, plus discretionary bonus and non-monetary compensation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Maintenance Technician, you will be a valuable member of the professional management and maintenance team at Crestmoor Park South and Crestmoor Park West. Your duties will be as follows:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be, under the supervision of the property's current Senior Maintenance Tech, responsible for checking, troubleshooting, and making routine repairs, or assisting in the checking, troubleshooting, and making repairs in the following areas:

  • Appliances
  • Air Conditioning
  • Heating
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Other building maintenance items

In addition to the skills listed above, technicians will work in accordance with the property Maintenance Tech and Property Manager on key control, directing and overseeing outside contractors, and on supply purchasing and expense control. You will deal directly and consistently with the residents at our properties to diagnose and resolve issues. Resolving issues must be done in time and in an efficient manner – both timely and accurately with a sense of urgency and customer focus.

As an Apartment Porter you will be responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.

  • Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
  • Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations
  • Capable of performing sustained manual labor
  • May require occasional overtime, holiday, and weekend work
  • Requires ownership of hand tools
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Good time-management skills
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Clean background check
  • Meticulously maintain curb appeal
  • Assist management team with other various tasks required.
  • Uphold all company policies, goals and values.
  • Represent the community in a professional manner at all times.
  • Deliver communication documentation to residents.
  • Contribute to resident retention programs.
  • Ensure that unsafe conditions are reported and/or corrected in a timely manner.
  • Neat, clean and professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described above without seeking outside contractor assistance.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills for communicating with residents, co-workers, and site management.
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to and foster a team approach to serving residents and maintaining a successful community.
  • Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook.
