The Utah Olympic Park is looking for a Maintenance Tech I to join us in Park City, UT. This position will require flexibility, and hours depend on the season of operations (Summer or Winter). For example, you may arrive at 6:00 am to prepare the Park by conducting snow removal, or there may be a later shift as youth sports clubs conduct training on the property until later in the evening. The Utah Olympic Park is working hard to maintain and upgrade our facilities to provide that top notch experience for international elite-level competitions that frequent our venues. The team you would join is all in to achieving the behind-the-scenes work, keeping the Park facilities in working order from on-site residences to bobsled and ski jump facilities. Job Requirements:
- Are you 18 years of age or older?
- Do you hold a valid driver's license?
- Are you able to perform strenuous activities and be on your feet for extended periods?
Here is what you can expect to do:
- Winter: clear and salt the roads, walkways, and lots across a 400-acre venue to allow access for Park visitors and athletes.
- Summer: conduct upkeep of grounds throughout the Park, conduct turf care, drainage control, and any other projects to improve the image of the venue
- Conduct general maintenance where you would manage basic plumbing, electrical, lighting and HVAC repairs. To include repair work on our onsite residences to get them ready for new tenants.
- Assisting with various Park events. We host international competitions and corporate events where you would be key to setting up, managing access, and tearing down the event space.
