The Opportunity:
As a Maintenance Electrical Tech, you’ll play a key role in our full line manufacturing operation. Based on your experience, you will support the facility maintenance program while helping drive productivity and meet customer commitments.

Complete preventative maintenance, projects, and emergency repairs to increase machine up time.

Monitor equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards

Perform routine maintenance, review schematics/diagrams, and basic troubleshooting to guide repairs

Perform both routine and emergency repairs to equipment to keep equipment producing safely
-
Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues and meet goals
-
Follow instructions closely and maintain strong attention to detail to support machine up time

What you need to succeed:
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting or individually
-
Must be available to work a modified shift in a 3-shift operation and overtime as required.
-
2-3 years proven and consistent work background in electro automation system installation and troubleshooting experience
-
Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls and power transmission systems.

Understands hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-
Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
-
PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.

Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
-
Working knowledge of encoders and various types of sensors
-
Working knowledge of power transmission equipment, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics
-
Basic welding skills
-
Familiar with pumps; both air and electrical
-
Able to install and troubleshoot 3 phase motor control circuits
-
Knowledge of various types of sensors and limit switches
-
Consistent and dependable attendance
-
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall.

Ability to perform repetitive motions, involving lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
