We are seeking a highly qualified, full-time Maintenance Tech II – Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior living settings, such as long-term care, assisted living, or memory support, and a demonstrated commitment to serving an elderly population.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical rough-in and finish work for apartment renovations, including installation and replacement of lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, dimmers, panel upgrades, circuit additions, load balancing, and GFCI/AFCI devices in compliance with code.

Diagnose and repair electrical issues identified during inspections and renovation walkthroughs.

Collaborate with renovation, maintenance, and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.

Conduct final electrical inspections prior to resident move-in to confirm safety and functionality.

Interpret electrical drawings, renovation scopes, and work orders accurately.

Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Respond promptly to time-sensitive electrical needs to support unit readiness.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.

Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or higher, as required by jurisdiction).

Minimum of 3–5 years of residential electrical experience, preferably in renovation or unit turnover environments.

Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and applicable code requirements.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple units at varying stages of renovation.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Experience working in occupied or transitioning residential communities.

Familiarity with senior living, multifamily, or property-managed environments.

Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical team members and supervisors.

Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, including data, cable, and fire alarm tie-ins.
