Maintenance Technician (HVAC/ EPA Certified)

PAY RATE COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE - $24.00
One (1) FT Position Available:
Tuesday – Saturday from 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
On-Call/OT/Weekends as needed
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Conduct routine inspections of residential units to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and general building maintenance..
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical maintenance issues promptly.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently..
- Upgrade or replace equipment as needed to maintain compliance with safety and energy standards.
Emergency Response:
- Be available for on-call duty to respond to urgent maintenance emergencies (leaks, outages, HVAC failures).
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and inventory.
- Track and report expenses to management.
Resident Relations:
- Interact with residents courteously and professionally when performing maintenance tasks or responding to service requests.
- Address concerns and complete service requests efficiently.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and health standards.
- Conduct safety inspections regularly and take corrective action.
ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY ARE MANDATORY.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- *HVAC, EPA Universal Certification REQUIRED*
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential maintenance is preferred.
- Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Please note: This is a skilled maintenance position, not a janitorial role.
