Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides knowledge and skills to construct patricians, install and finish sheetrock assemblies, troubleshoot and repair door operating devices and hardware. Individuals must complete TCP course 361 Introduction to Carpentry within the first 120 days of employment.

What you will do in this role:

• Identifies repair standards related to quality, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Provides education/direction to front line staff with clear concise accuracy in relationship to construction of partitions and service/repair of door operating devices and hardware.
• Provides an appropriate level of follow-up to ensure accuracy and completeness of work performed.
• Complies with all hospital policy and procedures as they relate to performing job functions, skills and tasks.
• Willingly adjusts personal schedule to meet departmental workload, fluctuations or other departmental needs.
• Develops self to be proactive with the completion of tasks and acceptance of additional responsibilities.
• Achieves desired outcomes even in the existence of stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.
• Completes assignments assigned by department Manager and accepts accountability for outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:
