The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all the Club’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems, furnishings, and buildings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that major mechanical systems, including heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, food service equipment and electrical systems and other primary systems, always remain available for use.
- Ensure that major equipment always remains in safe operational condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned items.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Always ensure the safety protocols and OSHA standards are adhered to when performing duties.
- Fulfill assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Report faulty equipment to management in a timely manner.
- Lock out, tag out equipment when necessary and in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Complete assigned duties on checklist, document work performed and notify management of work not performed.
- Maintain inventory control, notify management of items in need.
- Ensure all services to members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail.
- Ensure work environment is safe and Codes of Safe Practices are adhered to consistently. Report injuries in a timely manner.
- Report to work regularly and on time, follow directions, take criticism, get along with co-workers and supervisors, treat co-workers, supervisors and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior.

- Strong working knowledge of general electrical, plumping, HVAC, mechanical, painting and sanitation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- 1-year experience in general facilities maintenance or similar education or trade school.
- Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equal to a GED preferred.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
- Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US.
- Valid California Driver License with clean MVR is required.
