The Raceway Car Wash Company is an industry leader with 47 locations in Arizona,

California, Nevada, and Texas. We are expanding and seeking to add a Maintenance

Technician Tier 2 to assist with the development and maintenance of Raceway’s corporate

image and standards. Raceway hires driven leaders and puts them on the fast track to success.

Job Summary

A Raceway Car Wash Maintenance Technician Tier 2 is an expert at keeping the Company’s

properties looking and functioning at peak performance. He or she is a champion problem

solver who is involved in a variety of projects, including site renovations, new builds, and

preventative maintenance. The Company’s race to excellence will keep you challenged,

Responsibilities

❖ Assist with the market’s maintenance needs and effectively resolve issues in an efficient

manner.

❖ Perform scheduled or emergency service on car wash equipment.

❖ Analyze and troubleshoot electric and mechanical problems in order to complete repairs

in a timely and efficient manner.

❖ Work towards completing and mastering all Raceway Technician Trainings for advancement.

❖ Render onsite and phone technical assistance to local store managers.

❖ Provide accurate and timely reporting, according to company guidelines, for all expense

reports.

❖ Operate in a safe manner and must wear appropriate PPE as per published OSHA and

Company guidelines.

❖ Maintain tools, test equipment, and other Company materials and assets in a

professional manner.

❖ Report directly to the Facility and Maintenance Manager.

❖ Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

❖ A self-motivated and creative problem solver with excellent critical thinking skills who adapts

quickly in a dynamic environment.

❖ 2 years of experience in car wash maintenance or a related trade.

❖ Experience working with AC power and controls.

❖ A strong communicator who can lead teams in pursuing strategic goals, then plan repairs,

maintenance, and improvements accordingly.

❖ Valid Driver’s License Required with clean MVR.

❖ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb to be able to work from

ladders.

❖ Will require proper coordination and motor skills to work with power tools.

Compensation

❖ $23 to $30 per hour

❖ Company service vehicle provided with all necessary tools

❖ Travel/Gas Reimbursement

❖ Medical, dental, and vision coverage (portion of employee plan covered)

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
