The hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hotel Management Group. The franchise controls all aspects for the hotels employment policies and practices.

Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service while maintaining proper operations, maintenance, service and repair of all equipment and the building while adhering to cost control and profitability guidelines. Our goal is to provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable environment while creating memorable experiences.

· Know the company policies, brand standards and city, county, and state guidelines.

· Organize and complete scheduled preventative maintenance programs for all guest rooms, common areas, kitchen, laundry facilities and outside and inside the building that adhere to brand, state, and county guidelines.

· Responsible for repairs of minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, PTAC, plumbing, dry wall, paint, appliance, and other building related repairs.

· Ensure pool, spa and area are clean and in compliance with area health codes.

· Coordinate all repairs, inspections and documentation of the fire safety and elevator systems.

· Handle guest room repair requests in a timely manner with a high level of customer service.

· Maintain a professional working relationship with housekeeping and the front desk with fluid lines of communication.

· Obtain competitive bids, secure outside contractors, and oversee repairs when needed.

· Conduct a daily indoor and outdoor property tour to identify any needed repairs, safety concerns and burnt-out lights.

· Conduct monthly inventory and make purchases that are aligned with the forecast and budget.

· Maintain and update all required logs, forms, and paperwork required by HMG, the brand and the city, county, and state.

· Monitor vendors to ensure quality, delivery, and warranty coverage.

· Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag.

· Maintain key control system.

· Keep storage areas clean and organized.

· Clean and maintain equipment.

· Must be available as emergency contact.

Qualifications

· Experienced in previous hotel, apartment or similar environment required.

· Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

· Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.

· Must be able to work on a computer and learn the brand operating system and use Quore.

· Must have a smart phone.

· Must have a flexible schedule to meet hotel demand. May include weekends and holidays.

· Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours daily and lift, pull, push upwards of 75 pounds.

· Must be on call and available as the maintenance manager.

· Must be self-motivated and work independently.

· Must have the ability to communicate, read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, standards, operating instructions, correspondence and manuals.

· Must be able to work under pressure and have the ability to multitask.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
