Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The schedule will be from 9am-4pm, 5 days per week. Minimum of two weekends per month. Willing to be flexible for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems required.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems for effective troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members and clients.
• Lead small teams on specific projects, demonstrating leadership skills while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Leadership qualities that encourage teamwork and efficiency among peers.
