About The Opportunity
We are hiring for a role within the Manufacturing & Industrial Operations sector serving high-volume production sites across India. The position supports continuous operations by ensuring plant equipment runs safely, reliably, and at peak efficiency. This is an on-site role based in India delivering hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance across production assets.

Maintenance Technician
Role & Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections, troubleshoot faults, and execute corrective actions to restore equipment to full operation and minimise downtime.

Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks—lubrication, alignment, belt replacement, motor servicing, and condition monitoring—to extend asset life.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and PLC-driven systems, replacing components, testing circuits, and validating repairs per schematics.

Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including valves, pumps, cylinders, and filtration subsystems.

Log maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS; raise work orders, update status, and support spare-parts management to reduce lead times.

Follow safety and lockout-tagout procedures, participate in root-cause analysis for repeat failures, and implement corrective actions with engineering teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
-
ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Maintenance or equivalent technical certification.

Proven hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and SOPs for equipment repair.

Working knowledge of PLC servicing and basic ladder logic troubleshooting.

Familiarity with CMMS for work-order management and maintenance logging.

Strong adherence to safety standards including lockout-tagout (LOTO) and PPE compliance.
Preferred
-
Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar PLC platforms.

Training or certification in electrical safety, inverter drives, or hydraulic systems.

Previous experience in FMCG, food processing, or heavy manufacturing sites.
