About The Opportunity

We are hiring for a role within the Manufacturing & Industrial Operations sector serving high-volume production sites across India. The position supports continuous operations by ensuring plant equipment runs safely, reliably, and at peak efficiency. This is an on-site role based in India delivering hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance across production assets.

Primary title: Maintenance Technician

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, troubleshoot faults, and execute corrective actions to restore equipment to full operation and minimise downtime.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks—lubrication, alignment, belt replacement, motor servicing, and condition monitoring—to extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and PLC-driven systems, replacing components, testing circuits, and validating repairs per schematics.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including valves, pumps, cylinders, and filtration subsystems.
• Log maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS; raise work orders, update status, and support spare-parts management to reduce lead times.
• Follow safety and lockout-tagout procedures, participate in root-cause analysis for repeat failures, and implement corrective actions with engineering teams.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Maintenance or equivalent technical certification.
• Proven hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and SOPs for equipment repair.
• Working knowledge of PLC servicing and basic ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMMS for work-order management and maintenance logging.
• Strong adherence to safety standards including lockout-tagout (LOTO) and PPE compliance.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar PLC platforms.
• Training or certification in electrical safety, inverter drives, or hydraulic systems.
• Previous experience in FMCG, food processing, or heavy manufacturing sites.
