Maintenance Technician

Now Hiring! We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeble, and reliable Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance at one of our apartment complexes. You will be responsible for working with staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations. Our maintenance technicians must be detail oriented with an understanding of basic maintenance. They must be willing and able to troubleshoot systems. Have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, appliances, plumbing, HVAC, etc.. The goal is to ensure that the complex is well-maintained and in a safe condition at all times.

Responsibilities

• Execute work orders created by residents
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Assess and repair appliances, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• On Call Rotation

Skills

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
• Some technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, etc.)
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
• Team player
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
• EPA 608 Universal Certified is a plus
• CPO certified is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
