- Perform routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns in a timely manner to reduce operational downtime.
- Respond to maintenance service requests from staff or management.
- Install, adjust, and maintain equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
- Assist with facility repairs including painting, carpentry, and minor construction work.
- Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.
- Participate in emergency response and after-hours support when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities work.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, etc.).
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environments.
- Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or relevant trade.
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- OSHA or safety training certifications.
