Designation: Maintenance Technician Qualification: DME or BE-Mech
Experience: 3- 5yrs in Auto LPG -Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Routine Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of dispensers, compressors, pumps, valves, nozzles, hoses, electronic controllers, and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, AMC sheets and equipment service history.
- Ensure calibration of dispensing units and meters as per legal metrology guidelines.
2. Breakdown & Emergency Response
- Attend to equipment breakdowns immediately and restore operations with minimal downtime.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective measures to avoid recurrence.
- Support emergency response drills, leak management, fire control systems, and ESD (Emergency Shut Down) systems.
3. Safety & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to PESO, Legal Metrology, Fire & Safety and company standards.
- Inspect safety devices (flame arrestors, pressure relief valves, earthing, bonding, firefighting equipment) regularly.
- Maintain compliance records for audits, inspections, and statutory renewals.
4. Asset Health Monitoring
- Perform routine checks on storage bullets, pipelines, compressors, filters, pumps, dispensers, and electrical panels.
- Monitor pressure levels, leaks, sensor health, flow rates, and performance parameters.
- Recommend upgrades, replacements, and system improvements based on asset condition.
5. Operational Support
- Assist in station housekeeping, shutdown maintenance, loading/unloading activities, and dispenser alignment.
- Train site staff on basic troubleshooting, safe operation and preventive practices.
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC, repairs, calibrations, and outsourced maintenance activities.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance MIS, checklists, breakdown reports, calibration certificates, and spare inventory records.
- Report major failures, safety deviations, or system abnormalities to ROM/HO immediately
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LPG systems: compressors, dispensers, pumps, vaporizers, hoses, valves, SRV/TRV, pipelines.
- Understanding of electrical systems, control panels, PLC basics, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
- Competence in leak detection, pressure testing, and safety device inspection.
- Hands-on experience with calibration of flow meters, gauges, and dispensers.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance (PPM), breakdown troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with PESO, OISD guidelines, and statutory testing requirements
Operational Skills
- AMC coordination and vendor management.
- Equipment health monitoring and maintenance scheduling.
- Efficient material/spares planning and basic procurement knowledge.
- Use of mobile/app-based maintenance systems, geotagging, and digital checklists.
Accurate maintenance documentation and MIS reporting
