Role summary
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping buildings, equipment, and systems in good working order by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. The role supports smooth operations, safety, and compliance with facility standards.

- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and schedule timely repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to Minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in machinery, basic electrical circuits, and building components (doors, windows, fixtures).
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies and update maintenance records/CMMS.
- Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and company policies, and report hazards or incidents.
Required skills and qualifications
ITI/diploma or similar in mechanical, electrical, or related field, plus 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience.- Technical skills in basic electrical work, mechanical repair, plumbing, and HVAC support; ability to read manuals/drawings.
- Soft skills: problem-solving, communication, time management, and willingness to work shifts or be on call.
