Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance services to ensure Exclusive 30A homes are maintained at the highest standards. This hands-on role includes troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance across a portfolio of luxury vacation homes. The Technician will complete assigned work orders, document findings, and uphold Exclusive 30A’s brand standards of quality and service. Weekend and on-call availability is required.

Primary Responsibilities

· Completes assigned maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.

· Performs hands-on electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and appliance repair tasks as required.

· Conducts routine inspections and preventative maintenance on homes and equipment.

· Identifies additional maintenance issues during service visits and report findings to the Supervisor.

· Maintains accurate documentation of all completed work through company systems.

· Ensures all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.

· Assists with property audits, inspections, and new property onboarding as needed.

· Responds promptly to urgent maintenance issues during scheduled on-call rotations.

· Maintains company tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, working conditions.

· Supports seasonal maintenance projects as assigned.

· Troubleshoots A/V systems + internet/routers.

· Installs, positions, and secures mounting of furniture, televisions, and electronic equipment.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements (Experience, Knowledge, Skills)

· Two years of previous experience in a maintenance technician or similar hands-on role.

· Working knowledge of home systems: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC support, and appliances.

· Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

· Strong communication and time management skills.

· Proficiency with mobile devices and basic computer software.

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

· Strong organizational and documentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Weekend, holiday, and on-call availability.

Desired

· HVAC or other maintenance-related certifications.

· Experience in the hospitality or vacation rental industry.

· Familiarity with property management systems or maintenance scheduling software.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting.

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

· Active movement required up to 85% of the workday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
