Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of manufacturing machines and equipment used in car parking system fabrication. The role requires hands-on expertise in CNC and conventional machines, welding equipment, and shop-floor utilities to ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing machines to minimize downtime.
• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines including:
• CNC Laser Cutting Machine
• CNC Lathe Machine
• CNC Bending / Press Brake Machine
• Manual Lathe Machine
• Milling Machine
• Band Saw Machine
• Tower / Radial Drill Machine
• Hand Grinder, Disc Cutter
• Welding Machines (ARC & CO₂)
• EOT Crane - 5 Ton's
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults and take corrective action.
• Maintain machine accuracy, alignment, lubrication, and calibration as per OEM guidelines.
• Perform installation, shifting, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Ensure availability and proper usage of tools, spares, and consumables.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Follow and enforce safety norms, SOPs, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and external service providers for effective maintenance support.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and productivity.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance of CNC and conventional machines.
• Basic understanding of electrical panels, motors, sensors, drives, and wiring.
• Hands-on experience in welding machine maintenance (ARC & CO₂).
• Ability to read and understand machine drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Problem-solving skills with quick response during breakdown situations.
• Awareness of industrial safety standards and best practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant maintenance experience in a fabrication or car parking system manufacturing setup (preferred).
• Experience in CNC machine maintenance will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• Factory / shop-floor based role.

May require shift duty and emergency breakdown support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,188.53 - ₹30,834.61 per month
