Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production and facility equipment. This role supports safe, efficient operations through preventive and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced industrial laundry environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production and facility equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and document completed work
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and basic electrical diagrams
• Repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Install, test, and maintain motors, controls, and related equipment
• Inspect and maintain steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and communicate parts and material needs to maintenance leadership
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a background check and regulated drug screen

Preferred:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience
• Experience in a commercial or industrial laundry facility

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Heavy physical work throughout the shift including standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving objects up to 50 pounds
• Frequent use of hand and power tools
• Ability to work in small or confined spaces
• Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, hearing protection, and safety eyewear
• Must meet physical demands for the entire shift

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Industrial laundry production environment
• Exposure to large machinery, noise, humidity, steam, chemicals, and biological hazards
• Non-air-conditioned work areas with temperatures frequently reaching 90°F or higher
• Noise levels may require raised voices to communicate

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
