Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

A. Solar Installation Work

• Assist in installation of:
• Solar PV panels
• Inverters (on-grid / off-grid / hybrid)
• AC & DC wiring and cabling
• Junction boxes, earthing, and lightning arrestors
• Perform mounting, wiring, and basic electrical connections as instructed by the engineer or supervisor.

B. Electrical Works

• Carry out electrical wiring, cable dressing, and termination work.
• Identify and rectify basic electrical faults at site.
• Ensure correct polarity, voltage levels, and safe connections.
• Support synchronization and commissioning activities.

C. Testing & Commissioning Support

• Assist in system testing and commissioning.
• Use basic electrical tools like multimeter, clamp meter, and tester.
• Observe and report system performance issues.

D. Maintenance & Service Support

• Attend preventive and breakdown maintenance calls.
• Replace faulty components under supervision.
• Support troubleshooting at customer sites.

E. Site Support & Coordination

• Assist engineers and senior technicians during site execution.
• Follow site instructions and project schedules.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork at site.

F. Safety & Compliance

• Follow electrical safety rules and company safety guidelines.
• Use PPE and maintain safe working practices at all times.
• Handle tools and solar equipment carefully.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mangaluru, Karnataka
