Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, VRF systems, Diesel Generators, UPS, and general electrical infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted and safe facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and VRF systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Monitor, operate, and maintain Diesel Generator (DG) sets, including routine checks, load testing, and coordination during power failures.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of UPS systems, batteries, and associated electrical panels to support critical equipment.
- Carry out electrical maintenance activities such as wiring, switchgear checks, panel maintenance, and fault rectification.
- Conduct regular inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service reports for all equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, AMC activities, and statutory compliance.
- Follow safety procedures, electrical safety norms, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Sound knowledge of HVAC, VRF, DG sets, UPS, and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose faults and perform timely repairs
- Basic understanding of safety standards and electrical regulations
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in facility or industrial maintenance
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage
Working Conditions
- May require shift work, on-call support, or emergency response
- Physical ability to handle maintenance tools and equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
