Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with vendors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
• Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.
• Assist with residential painting projects to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility operations is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
• Experience in supervising teams or coordinating maintenance activities is desirable.
• Proficient in welding techniques for repair work.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
