What We Are Looking For

Experience & Domain

• 2–4 years hands-on experience in manufacturing/shopfloor maintenance
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics (or equivalent strong practical exposure)
• Experience in fast-paced production environments (plastic industry experience is a plus)

Electrical Skills

• Proven experience with 3-phase LT systems, MCC/PCC panels, DBs, MCB/MCCB, ELCB/RCCB
• Hands-on wiring/testing/maintenance of AC motors, pumps, blowers, gear motors
• Motor starters: DOL / Star-Delta / Soft Starters
• Control panel wiring + troubleshooting: contactors, relays, overloads, timers, SMPS
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams / blueprints / single-line diagrams (SLD)
• Cable laying/routing/termination, lugging, ferruling, labeling

Mechanical Skills

• Read and interpret GA drawings, assembly sketches, P&IDs
• Strong fabrication & assembly exposure (EPC experience preferred)
• Precision fitting: bearings, shafts, couplings, seals
• Alignment: pulleys, chain/sprocket, couplings
• Comfort with tools + instruments: hand tools, power tools, vernier, micrometer, torque wrench

Critical Multi-Skilled Competencies

• Integrated troubleshooting: accurately decide electrical vs mechanical root cause
• Motor–mechanical integration: complete motor installation end-to-end (wiring + coupling/alignment)
• Cross-functional execution: switch between panel work and mechanical fitting in the same day
• Machine ownership (technician level): support install → commissioning → PM → breakdown across both domains

Safety + Discipline

• Strong understanding of LOTO, PPE, electrical safety, mechanical safety
• Basic computer skills: Excel + email for logging and reporting
• Self-starter mindset: you don’t wait to be told what’s loose, unsafe, or failing—you act

What You’ll Do

Own uptime (Breakdown maintenance)

• Attend breakdowns, diagnose root cause, and restore uptime safely
• Prevent repeat failures by fixing the real issue—not just the symptom

Preventive maintenance (PM)

• Execute PM schedules across electrical and mechanical systems
• Report early warning signs (heat, noise, vibration, leaks, smell) before they become downtime

Installation + commissioning support

• Support machine installation/commissioning using checklists and safe handover practices
• Handle complete motor installation: wiring + coupling/alignment

Maintenance hygiene + documentation

• Maintain clean workmanship: labeling, termination quality, cable dressing, panel cleanliness
• Keep logs for breakdowns, PM completion, and spares used (Excel/email)

Cross-functional collaboration

• Coordinate with production during stoppages and restarts
• Work with vendors/supervisors when escalation is needed

Your Compensation:

• An annual Cost-to-Company (CTC) between INR 4-6 lakhs.
• Stock Options (ESOPS) in the legal entity that vests over an agreed-to tenure.
• A 3-month mutual incubation period. Both you and we will have the option to end the agreement after three months if it isn’t working out.
• We provide benefits such as health insurance, flexible work hours (including unmonitored vacation) and Provident Fund contributions.
• We believe in keeping the organisational structure as flat as possible, where nobody really reports to anybody, but instead, we try and hold each other accountable for outcomes and processes.
