Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues utilizing tools such as ohmmeters, schematics, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Perform welding repairs and modifications to equipment or structural components as needed.
  • Assist with residential painting projects to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep.
  • Lead or support small teams during maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed in CMMS for tracking maintenance history and planning future tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or maintenance support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding and repair mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and using tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics.
  • Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS software for work order management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
