Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician serves as the second-in-command within the maintenance department, supporting the Maintenance Manager in daily operations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, switches, wiring, belts, pumps, filters, and valves with precision.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct welding repairs on machinery or structural components as needed to maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Assist with facility upgrades to improve overall environment quality.
• Diligently follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability through proactive maintenance strategies.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, motors, PLCs, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, mechanical repairs, and understanding of mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
