Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports the Property Management team in ensuring the quality and safety of residential and commercial units managed by Fello Communities. The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. This role installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facilities and equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong technical and problem-solving skills who takes pride in maintaining safe, high-quality spaces for others. They should have a broad understanding of building systems, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills are essential, as this role works closely with residents, vendors, and other Fello team members.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of experience in facility maintenance and/or property management. Certification in plumbing, HVAC, or other facility-related trades is a plus. A valid Maryland Driver’s License with no more than two points and a satisfactory driving record is required.
