Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring optimal maintenance operations of our apartment complex. The ideal candidate will possess strong general maintenance knowledge, including electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, interior painting, drywall repair, and HVAC repair. Duties

• Perform Repairs: Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and household appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Routine Maintenance: Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to Requests: Address maintenance requests from residents promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction.
• Prepare Units: Get vacant apartments ready for new residents by performing necessary repairs, painting, and deep cleaning.
• Maintain Common Areas: Ensure cleanliness and safety in common areas, and outdoor spaces as needed.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new items as necessary to ensure availability for repairs.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC, and general maintenance work is essential.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills to interact with residents and property management effectively.
• Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance technician and HVAC certification.

Work Environment

• On-Site: The role requires working on-site at the apartment complex, which may involve outdoor work in various weather conditions.
