Maintenance Technician

Gill Family Properties is expanding our team and searching for a Maintenance Technician to preserve the good condition and functionality of our properties located in Paducah, KY. You will perform maintenance tasks of a great variety such as painting, flooring, finish carpentry, minor plumbing, HVAC repairs, and much more.

A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work great on a team while being able to manage their individual workload. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities

· Complete necessary repairs to turn the unit into a rent ready space.

· Assist with common maintenance work orders requested by tenants.

· Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.

· Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

· Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

Skills

· Proven experience as a property maintenance technician

· Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems

· Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

· Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

· Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

· Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.

· High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC (preferred), building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
