Maintenance Technician

Our manufacturing plant is seeking a dependable and precise Maintenance Technician.

Maintenance Technician will evaluate mechanical and electrical / electrical conditions on all equipment, make repairs when capable and arrange for technical support as required. Maintain building and grounds as directed. Catalog and maintain spare parts inventory and order as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in establishing requirements and perform preventative maintenance.

2. Make corrective repairs to equipment as required.

3. Maintain building and grounds as directed

4. Demonstrate ability to train and coach.

5. Demonstrate ability to require minimal supervision, technical and maintenance support.

6. Obtain additional training necessary to perform maintenance and repair jobs in house that are outsourced due to lack of expertise in house.

7. Demonstrate innovation in task accomplishment.

8. Make Maintenance Manager aware of equipment status and repair requirements. Record and maintain records of preventative and corrective maintenance repairs.

9. Make Maintenance Manager aware of safety issues and concerns asap.

10. Perform general housekeeping duties as directed. Ensure all HAZMAT is properly identified, stored, and handled.

11. Perform duties as directed by Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.

12. Dispose of scrap material as directed. Authorization to scrap material must be approved by Maintenance Manager.

13. Make Plant Manager and/or Maintenance Manager aware of any non-conformance in product.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime.
• Pass a Drug Screen and have a Favorable Background
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter and motivated to work.
• Welding experience
• Electrical experience
• Pneumatics experience
• Hydraulic experience
