Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Fabricate parts as needed and perform welding tasks to ensure equipment functionality.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure high levels of customer service.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills when required.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail is essential.
