Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing repairs across various systems. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards
Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
Lead facilities maintenance activities including residential painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and general upkeep of the premises
Supervise junior technicians or contractors during maintenance projects ensuring quality work and safety compliance
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in electrical systems and mechanical repairs
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes
Skilled in CNC Machines, Haas, Mazak mills
Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, motors, switches, and control panels
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams fluently
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and repair within manufacturing environments
Experience with residential painting or general building maintenance is a plus
Supervising experience demonstrating leadership skills in managing teams or projects
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English
Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters confidently for electrical troubleshooting
