Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, a commitment to providing excellent customer service, and the ability to oversee various tasks ranging from electrical work to project supervision.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on properties and units to ensure optimal functionality.

- Maintain constant availability via phone and provide regular updates to supervisors as required.

- Lead and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to high-quality standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns and resolving issues promptly.

- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall facility performance and safety.

- Document and report all repairs accurately through written notes and the provided mobile application.

Requirements

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and projects effectively.

- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

- Strong logical reasoning abilities to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work overtime and commute to various locations with reliable transportation.

- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is preferred.

- Familiarity with AppFolio is a plus.

- Experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
