  • Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities. You will be responsible for the following tasks in this role.
  • Perform line technician services specified on the service repair order with efficiency and per the dealership processes – familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
  • Routine inspections and maintenance
  • Continuously expanding your knowledge of new technologies and practice
  • Perform road tests for diagnosis of consumer’s complaint and verification of repair
  • Work as a team along with the service advisors, communicating client's vehicle needs
  • Attend manufacture-specific training classes
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Have a working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, and lift operation
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
