We are currently looking for a Maintenance Tech. to join our team and are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills, flexibility to work at different buildings on a daily basis, and who can manage multiple tasks at once and juggle competing priorities.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Utilize your skills and experience to resolve maintenance issues including; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler systems, flooring, windows, appliance repair, and more
• Respond to service requests and work orders
• Identify maintenance and liability hazards and repair/report to supervisor
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and units
• Make all repairs/replacements necessary for apartment to be occupied
• Assist as needed in other areas of property maintenance including painting, grounds- keeping, trash pick-up, housekeeping, office support, etc. depending on property needs

Basic Requirements and Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is a must
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus
• 3 years’ experience maintaining multi-family, student housing or community buildings
• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Customer Service
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Clean Background Check and Driving Record
• Customer Service Responsibilities
• Must be courteous and caring of personal property and treat co-workers and customers with respect at all times

Physical Requirements

• Will be required to walk, stand, sit, crawl, crouch for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Will be required to work in confined spaces and on ladders at times.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive pay in the range of $68,000-70,000 salary, plus bonus potential
