Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our apartment community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your maintenance, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise in a fast-paced environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and improving our community and residents homes.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, appliance repairs, plumbing and electrical.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance history.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, residential painting, and general building upkeep.
• Supervise or collaborate with team members on work orders, on calls, turns
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness across all maintenance activities.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all residents and team collaboration to all employees

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance of apartment homes
• Appliance, Plumbing and Electrical repair and replacement
• HVAC/CPO certifications preferred
• Boiler experience preferred
• Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English across diverse teams.
• Experience with residential painting or general building upkeep is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
