Maintenance Technician
Monarch Investment is actively hiring for a Maintenance Technician position at Pecan Grove/Rosewood Apartments in Alexandria, LA! This is a full-time and permanent role with amazing benefits package and quarterly bonus structure at a TOP 10 National company!
- Drivers license, background check and drug screen required
PAY: $16-18 an hour
On call every 4th week, $100 on-call bonus, up to $3,000+ a year in other bonuses
SCHEDULE: M-F 8-5 with some on-call

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
- Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
- Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
- Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
- Maintaining property grounds
- Preventative maintenance
- Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
- Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic HVAC experience a plus
- 6+ months’ experience in general maintenance
- Some drywall experience including painting and carpentry
- Strong plumbing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Have good verbal and written communication
- Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
- Be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
