Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at First Star Recycling, located in Omaha, NE. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of facility equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive measures, and repairs. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, implementing corrective actions, and documenting maintenance activities. The technician will also contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and standards.

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and tools
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is an advantage
