Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration appliances, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement repairs.
• Conduct service technician tasks such as replacing parts, calibrating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Lead small maintenance projects or assist with construction-related tasks as needed to improve facility infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to ensure continuous operation of critical systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration appliances is essential.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with construction practices related to building upgrades or renovations is a plus.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
