Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building infrastructure.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately identify problems and implement effective solutions.
• Perform service technician tasks including troubleshooting complex mechanical failures and executing repairs efficiently.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during construction or major maintenance projects to ensure safety standards and project timelines are met.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment status to support operational transparency.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration appliances.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing systems, and construction fundamentals.
• Leadership experience is a plus—ability to guide junior technicians or coordinate with external contractors during large projects.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance environments is essential.
