Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for critical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems accurately.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing maintenance support and installing new equipment or systems as needed.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership skills while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical plumbing or electrical issues efficiently.
• Light Preventative maintenance painting and various repair tasks
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment repair tasks swiftly while adhering to safety protocols.
• Construction experience is a plus for supporting building upgrades or installations.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective team coordination during maintenance projects or emergency repairs.
