Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with expertise in electrical, plumbing knowledge, and the ability to interpret Service orders, Purchase orders, inventory, etc. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing high-quality service to our residents and owners while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to include electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, carpentry, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections of property interior and exterior to identify potential maintenance needs and complete repairs.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate work schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients in accordance with Fair Housing.
• Assist with residential painting, flooring, repairs (Full turn Key) projects as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance operations and ensure minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong electrical experience and plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of Property Management software for tracking maintenance activities is beneficial.
