About the role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining proper functionality and safety, and for performing preventive maintenance on production equipment and the facility. Responsibilities for the maintenance technician will include troubleshooting and repairs involving AC and DC voltages, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, and various types of manufacturing equipment.
Production Support: Responding to emergency maintenance requests, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs to minimize downtime.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, greasing, and part replacement to prevent system failures.
Use problem-solving techniques to determine root causes, countermeasures, and permanent and preventive corrective actions.
Documentation: Updating work orders, recording maintenance activities, and ordering parts.
S3T: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, time, and cost for the organization.
Assisting with equipment installations and upgrades.
What would be nice to have:
Certifications in equipment maintenance and repair, including electrical, Hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC.
Repair and maintenance on CO2 and Fiber lasers.
Repair and maintenance on Mazak and HAAS CNC's.
Experience writing and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic.
Experience with powder coating and liquid paint systems.
Experience with welding and fabricating equipment.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $35.00. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
