Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and repair diverse equipment including HVAC units, refrigeration systems, appliances, motors, pumps, and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Conduct repairs on air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and other climate control equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing new equipment or systems as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency situations to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills.
• Solid understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical principles.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with construction skills for installation or upgrades.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently using technical manuals and schematics.
• Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and supervision when needed.
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with team members or contractors.
