Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, demonstrate leadership skills, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures.
• Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance needs.
• Lead small teams on specific projects or during peak maintenance periods.
• Experience in PTEC AND HVAC

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
• Strong electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
• Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical documents.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, or similar trades is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in previous roles or projects.
• A commitment to safety practices and protocols in all maintenance activities.
