Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks with precision to restore full functionality swiftly.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Assist in construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or refrigeration.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals is essential for accurate diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
• Ability to perform equipment repair tasks independently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to guide team members or oversee small projects.
• Construction experience or background is a plus but not mandatory.
