Maintenance Technician

A large integrated energy & industrial company formerly known as the Oman Oil Company. It operates in oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, mining, and infrastructure across multiple countries.

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping industrial equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently. In energy, oil & gas, manufacturing or industrial settings, this role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance work on mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and plant equipment to minimize breakdowns and downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as issues arise.

Inspect equipment regularly and coordinate planned maintenance activities with safety procedures.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports and work records for tracking and optimization.

Understand and use maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).

Support spare parts inventory and ensure tools/equipment are ready for work.

Follow health, safety and environmental regulations to ensure safe operations.

Typical Skills & Qualifications:

Technical diploma, certificate, or degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, engineering or related trades.

Hands-on experience with industrial machines, tools, and safety systems.

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Pay: From RO401.000 per month
