Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Repair or replace faulty components on machinery, appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct complex repairs involving HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical infrastructure.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing new equipment or systems as needed.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure safety standards and project timelines are met.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for various systems including HVAC/R and refrigeration.
• Service technician experience with hands-on repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively.
• Leadership skills to guide junior technicians or coordinate maintenance activities smoothly.
