The Maintenance Technician is often the individual most responsible for resident satisfaction. Not only does the Maintenance Technician play a key role in the resident's comfort, their service often includes more interaction with the residents than any other employee. It is therefore essential that the Maintenance Technician portray a professional, courteous and caring demeanor in all interactions. The main duties will be to ensure that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to "make ready" status in a timely manner. Performs necessary repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the entire community.
Salary:
- $21- $23 hour based on experience plus bonuses

Responsibilities:
- Completing required tasks as assigned by the Resident Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
- Completing assigned service request in 24 hours
- Handle resident relations with tact, diplomacy and courteous communications.
- Assists in maintaining beautiful curb appeal for Community
- Assists in turnover of vacant units
- Maintain company safety standards
- Daily pool chemical readings and upkeep
Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with power and hand tools
- Excellent customer service approach to property owners and tenants.
- Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
- Positive attitude promoting teamwork and career-oriented goals, Punctual, dependable, self-starter, ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of all policies and procedures, State and FederalLandlord and Fair Housing Laws
- High School Diploma, or equivalency
- Cell phone, tools, and vehicle to complete job responsibilities
- EPA and CPO preferred but not required
- Must have the physical capacity to walk briskly, climb stairs, conduct visual inspections.
- Must be computer literate. Must have strong English speaking and writing skills.
- Minimum of one (1) year residential property management experience 150+ units or comparable field
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays if needed.
- Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs on a regular basis
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance and registration
- Must be available weekends
