Maintenance Technician

Main Missions:

• Support in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Support installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, exhaust fans, and ducting systems.
• Help in basic electrical works, including cable pulling, conduit installation, and assisting in panel maintenance.
• Assist in plumbing works such as fixing leaks, pipe installation, drainage cleaning, and replacement of fixtures.
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
• Clean and maintain work areas, plant rooms, and equipment to ensure safe and organized conditions.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor faults under supervision.
• Support periodic inspections and routine checks of MEP systems.
• Help in maintaining records of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and the use of PPE at all times.
• Assist in shutdown and startup of equipment as per instructions.
• Support emergency maintenance works and breakdown response activities.
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the site.
• Report any abnormal conditions, damages, or safety hazards to the technician or supervisor.

Your Profile:

Academic Knowledge and Experience:

• Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or trade certificate in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in maintenance and repair.

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Familiarity with control panels and basic electrical systems.
• Experience in compressor repair and rebuilding activities.
• Knowledge of electrical controls and functional components used in control panels.
• Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques.
• Pipe measurement, sizing, flaring, and swaging techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical schematics will be an advantage.

IT & Software Skills:

• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of SCADA/BMS systems and components will be an advantage.

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English.
• Arabic, Hindi, and/or Urdu will be an advantage.
