Maintenance Technician

Cedar Management is seeking reliable and motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our team in the St. Paul metro area. This is a full-time (32 hours/four days a week position. The hours for this position are from 9am to 5pm Thursday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing building access to vendors as scheduled by the Property Manager; escort vendors throughout building and ensure vendor has vacated building
• Utilizing a tractor, move trash and recycling containers out for collection and returning them after pickup
• Daily monitoring of common areas within the building and grounds such as the parking lot, hallways, entrances, garage, roof, pools and grounds on daily basis to ensure all areas are clear of debris and in proper working order.
• Replacing light bulbs as needed and perform touch-up painting.
• Monitor security cameras to review homeowner concerns related to security related matters.
• Completing basic maintenance tasks, such as replacing broken or missing switch plates; caulking, pool maintenance
• Cleaning garage cages and miscellaneous storage areas within the building
• Reporting maintenance issues beyond the scope of the position to the Property Manager; may assist business office by covering lunch breaks and/or assisting in answering calls and speaking with homeowners.
• Assisting with exterior cleanup and general property upkeep as needed

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification
• Minnesota Boiler Operator License (must successfully achieve within six months of hire)

Experience

• At least one year of maintenance technician or related maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and responsively including maintaining and excellent punctuality and attendance.

• Good communication skills
• Ability to perform light physical labor and lift maintenance-related materials as needed

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
